The Hogeschool van Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences is building a unique city campus at the top of Wibautstraat: Amstel Campus, a bustling place where students, lecturers and city will meet. Amstel Campus offers more than education alone. It will be a unique combination of studying, living, working and recreation. Besides educational facilities, there will be student flats, sports facilities, restaurants/cafes, service shops and public spaces like courtyards and squares. The construction cost is around 70 million euros.
The design for the Boerhaave and Wibaut building was made by KPF and was worked out further by Studio V in Kortenhoef.
Van den Berg Bouwkundigen is making the dimension plans and execution drawings for the Boerhaave building, the Wibaut building and the Wibaut apartments.
